What You Will Do:

L'Oréal USA is seeking an a Transformation Director to play a critical role in orchestrating Zone‑level strategic planning, driving portfolio alignment, and ensuring rigorous end‑to‑end governance of transformation priorities. This role partners closely with business, technology, finance, and global counterparts to shape and operationalize the Zone’s multi‑year roadmap. The Director ensures the right projects are identified, prioritized, resourced, and sequenced to deliver business value, while fostering a culture of transparency, readiness, and continuous improvement across the transformation portfolio.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate enterprise‑wide transformation roadmap planning by consolidating submissions across all divisions and métiers into a unified 3‑year strategic roadmap. 
  • Drive organizational alignment through systematic cleanup, hierarchy management, and categorization of Zone projects, global initiatives, product launches, and NEO‑related developments. 
  • Enhance strategic clarity by refining planning inputs, strengthening pre‑budget processes, and enabling scenario‑based planning to anticipate emerging business needs. 
  • Manage the annual roadmap cycle by shaping planning frameworks, establishing governance cadences, and ensuring timely engagement across business, tech, and finance partners. 
  • Partner closely with transformation stakeholder and strategy teams to ensure Zone plans are aligned, comprehensive, and well‑positioned for downstream approval processes.
  • Support preparation for 6 annual CPP cycles (3 Zone‑focused, 3 Global) to ensure seamless execution of high‑stakes, cross‑functional planning and prioritization meetings. 
  • Drive comprehensive business readiness assessments by coordinating with divisions/métiers to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and assess business and technology capability requirements. 
  • Own scorecard development and scenario modeling to provide leadership with clear visibility into project impact, investment needs, and feasibility. 
  • Provide strategic oversight through structured lookbacks, risk identification, dependency mapping, and continuous refinement of CPP processes. 
  • Ensure prioritization and investment decisions are grounded in business value, strategic alignment, and organizational capacity.
  • Partner with Portfolio Manager to integrate CPP outputs into the active project portfolio and ensure smooth transition into execution and monitoring. 
  • Establish strong cross‑functional relationships to promote transparency across all phases of planning—from ideation through approval. 
  • Support the VP, Transformation with executive storytelling, strategic reviews, and preparation for BU, Zone, and Global governance forums. 
  • Champion transformation ways of working by reinforcing discipline in planning, risk management, and value tracking.


What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10+ years of experience in transformation, strategy, PMO, or related fields; experience in large‑scale organizational or digital transformation preferred. 
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and synthesis skills with an ability to turn complex inputs into structured recommendations. 
  • Exceptional project governance and stakeholder‑management capabilities; proven experience influencing senior leaders. 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate risks, and drive clarity in complex, cross‑functional environments. 
  • Highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.


 What’s In It For You:

Salary Range: $138,500.00- $200,800.00 The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
