What You Will Learn:

L'Oréal is seeking an experienced Master Data Manager to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of all master data within our factory operations. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless production processes, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency. As part of our dynamic supply chain team, you will lead through influence both internal and external partners, continually optimizing processes to meet L'Oréal's standards of excellence.


Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

1. Support of Production:

  • Assist with diagnosis of data setup errors which may impact production or change of ownership to the distribution center
  • Review investigation and next steps for non-conforming data setups in the event production is impacted  
  • Oversee adherence to the BOM status routing process to ensure BOMs are in correct status for production order conversion
  • Aid in the training of front line workers to address data issues on the shop floor



2. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to master data management
  • Generate regular scorecards and analyses to evaluate master data management accuracy and identify areas for improvement consistent with L’Oréal corporate standards
  • Maintain and publish the Health of Planning (HoP) scorecard for master data management at this site




3. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the maintenance of master data accuracy
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving Manufacturing Supply Chain (MSC) operations and driving continuous improvement
  • Follow standard guidelines and propose improvements to the established master data management processes




4. Leadership:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to planners in all domains of MSC, contributing to their development within the team
  • Provide feedback to MSC Center of Excellence pertaining to the health of standardized supply chain processes
  • Influence external stakeholders to protect the interests of the factory
  • Serve as a member of the North Little Rock MSC leadership team
  • Serve as the “go to” person for internal questions pertaining to Factory data management systems: SAP and Flexnet
  • Establish and maintain factory cross-domain networking and guidance with FLOWS, FICO, IQ, MFG to ensure quality data inputs throughout the entire factory flow




What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business or related field or applicable industry experience.
  • 3+ years of planning experience
  • High Proficiency in MS Excel required (including data analysis, logic testing, pivot tables).
  • SAP experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and executing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Influential management skills to engage external partners and drive collaborative initiatives
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple production schedules and projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address production challenges in a fast-paced environment.
