ROLE OVERVIEW
The O+O Sales Operations Manager is the strategic backbone of the Commercial team, ensuring seamless operational excellence across both Offline and Online channels. You will lead the end-to-end sales operations ecosystem—from data-driven reporting and S&OP orchestration to fieldforce effectiveness and process compliance. This role is designed for a transformation-minded leader who can turn complex data into actionable insights and build robust processes that scale with CPD’s ambitious growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Reporting & Data Intelligence
- Data Orchestration: Lead the design and delivery of advanced commercial dashboards (Sell-in, Sell-out, Inventory, etc.) using Power BI, ensuring 100% accuracy and real-time visibility.
- Predictive Insights: Beyond tracking, provide "The Story Behind the Numbers"—identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support the Commercial Directors in decision-making.
- Inventory & PLV Mastery: Oversee PLV (Point of Sale Materials) management and partner with Supply Chain to optimize inventory health and reporting accuracy.
2. Operational Excellence & S&OP (Five-Channel Scope)
- S&OP Leadership: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning workstream for CPD, ensuring high-quality forecasting and alignment between Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Process Architect: Build, optimize, and enforce E2E commercial workflows including Contracts, Promotions, Rebates, Pricing, and Account Setup.
- Master Data Governance: Act as the custodian of commercial master data (Product, Pricing, Customer), ensuring integrity across all ERP/CRM systems.
- Policy & Compliance: Roll out CPD Sales Policies and lead audit-readiness initiatives to ensure zero-finding compliance.
3. Fieldforce Operation & Excellence
- Performance Engine: Manage the 3rd party agency for a fieldforce of ~200 pax, overseeing budget allocation, policy design, and incentive schemes.
- Execution ROI: Partner with the Senior Sales Force Excellence (SFE) Manager to develop SOPs, training programs, and digital tools that increase in-store execution effectiveness.
- Incentive Strategy: Design and validate monthly/quarterly incentive payouts to drive the right sales behaviors and minimize turnover.
4. Digital Transformation & Change Management
- Automation Champion: Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks (using RPA or advanced Excel/Power Query) to drive team productivity.
- Agile Adaptation: Regularly review and pivot sales processes to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving O+O landscape (Omnichannel).
KEY KPIs (Success Metrics)
- Reporting Excellence: On-time delivery rate (>98%) and minimal error margin.
- Operational Efficiency: Reduction in process cycle time (Contract/Promo approvals).
- Fieldforce Performance: Incentive payout accuracy and reduced turnover rate of top performers.
- Compliance: 100% closure rate of audit findings and adherence to Commercial Policy.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Internal NPS from Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
REQUIREMENTS
The Essentials:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years in Sales Operations, Sales Planning, or Commercial Excellence, preferably within FMCG or the Beauty industry.
- Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and Excel (Power Query is a must). Experience with SAP or Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Mindset: A "Process Optimizer" who is proactive, results-oriented, and has a high degree of integrity regarding compliance.
- Communication: Strong influencing skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholders (Internal & External). Fluent in English.

- Experience in Digital Transformation (RPA, CRM integration).
- Expertise in Incentive Design and Agency Management for large-scale fieldforce.
- Storytelling with Data: Ability to present complex analytics to senior management in a simple, impactful way.
