Shift:                1st Shift  (6:30 am - 3:00 pm)

What You Will Do:
Requires attention to detail during the raw material entering, labeling and sampling process.

  • Must be flexible to operate a PIT in other FLOWS roles –possibly 80%of hours worked

will be driving a PIT


General Job Duties:

  • Unload raw materials from trailers as needed.
  • Sorting RM’s by item and vendor lot #.
  • Attention to detail during raw material entering, labeling, and sampling process.
  • This position requires fork truck certification and possibly other equipment certifications.
  • Maintain knowledge and practice of Quality Policies, area work instructions, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain knowledge and practice of Safety Policies and of all related safety requirements for the area.
  • Promote teamwork by assisting others when assigned responsibilities.
  • Communicate well with co-workers, various Quality and Safety Teams, and management.
  • Prepare paperwork and complete computer transactions.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
  • Good knowledge of GMP/ISO requirements.
  • Actively engaged in safety programs (MESURE, ISO, etc.)


TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED IN JOB

  • PITs (forklift, Turret, Electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, drum handler, Shrink Wrap machine)
  • Computer and labelers. Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft office suite and can navigate software programs. SAP experience is a plus.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

  • Production machinery may produce noise levels that exceed OSHA’s action level: Employees are provided with and are required to wear personal hearing protection devices in these areas.
  • Some tests may require ability to apply certain levels of pressure with the hands.
  • Some procedures require safe work with hazardous materials.
  • Employee safety required to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, L'Oréal provided smocks. There is certain equipment that requiresadditionalPPE.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manipulation Requirements: (Hands or Feet)This position requires an individual to constantly perform one and/or all of the following movements/functions: Handle, reach, feel, perform fine motor manipulations with their hands, and perform gross motor manipulations involved in assembly and maintenance of machinery, moving equipment, and other objects.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work in warehouse conditions.
