Job Summary: The Director, Omnichannel Marketing will serve as the strategic architect and executional leader responsible for defining, developing, and driving a fully integrated omnichannel marketing strategy for Kérastase and shu uemura across all retail and direct channels — including Sephora, Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), and Salons. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, Kérastase/shu uemura, this individual will own how both brands grow and show up across the full omnichannel ecosystem — leading a team of channel-dedicated marketers while ensuring a unified, insight-led, and commercially ambitious approach across every touchpoint.

This is a role for a visionary leader and decisive operator — someone who can set the strategic direction, inspire and develop a high-performing team, and drive accountability across cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across retail, digital, and DTC environments, and acts as the senior integrator across Brand Marketing, Sales, DMI, A&I, Media, and Education to ensure the brands are positioned for sustainable growth across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Omnichannel Vision & Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the overarching omnichannel marketing strategy across Sephora, Amazon, D2C, and Salons — ensuring a coherent, consumer-centric brand experience that drives awareness, acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all touchpoints
  • Translate brand vision and commercial priorities into clear, channel-specific go-to-market strategies, working in close partnership with Sales, Brand Marketing, DMI, and Media to ensure full organizational alignment
  • Anticipate market shifts, evolving consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics across all channels, proactively adjusting strategy to maintain relevance and competitive advantage
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure marketing strategies are fully aligned with commercial priorities, account goals, and sell-in/sell-out targets — maintaining clear ownership of the brand and marketing lane at the Director level
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners, including retail accounts (Sephora, Amazon) and agency/vendor partners, operating with a senior-level commercial and creative point of view

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of omnichannel marketing managers, each owning a dedicated channel (e.g., Sephora, Amazon, D2C, Salons) — fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture rooted in accountability and creative excellence

Merchandising & Creative Direction

  • Provide strategic oversight across all merchandising and in-market execution — ensuring the brand's visual, physical, and digital representation across all channels is on-brand, commercially compelling, and consistent
  • Guide and approve the end-to-end planning, briefing, and execution of key merchandising initiatives across channel teams, managing overall timelines, budgets, and agency/vendor partnerships
  • Partner with DMI to ensure the digital experience across all platforms — from PDPs to digital campaigns — is held to the same standard of excellence as physical in-store presence

Budget Ownership & Financial Accountability

  • Own and manage the full omnichannel marketing budget across all channels — including co-op advertising, in-store activations, sampling, merchandising, and media
  • Ensure accurate, on-time financial submissions for trend and finance deadlines; proactively develop and propose future budget scenarios in support of the brand's growth ambition
  • Hold the team accountable to budget discipline, accuracy, and return on investment

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Lead the monitoring and synthesis of competitive landscape intelligence and industry trends across all omnichannel environments — identifying opportunities, threats, and white space in a timely manner
