What You Will Do:
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop global product launch and animation of existing pillars strategy in line with global brand vision
- Manage and orchestrate end-to-end product development process by collaborating with all departments
- Ensure operational excellence, both for new products, and renovation of existing ranges
- Collect consumer, market insights, from drive countries, and to ensure the product development addresses growth opportunities/ gaps in portfolio
- Develop competitive/better product mix: formula, pack, USP, claims
- Optimize product recommendations to win in all channels: pro, consumer, e-commerce, back bar, etc
- Monitor product portfolio and competition (new launches, pillars, animation of catalogue)
- Work with R&I and technical center to select best winning formulas
- Work closely with CMI on product testing plan
- Ensure on-time delivery of launch material (dossier, artwork, etc)
- Work with sustainability, industry and lab partners to create most sustainable and desirable product mix
- Work with finance partners to ensure improvement on gross margin of the portfolio (optimizations of formulas, packaging, valorization, etc)
- Work closely with Campaign and Content managers to infuse them with knowledge and content of the project so they can create a winning campaign
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- College degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in visual arts or other creative fields preferred. High school diploma required.
- 3-5 years related Marketing experience, preferably with beauty industry.
- Experience in hair color, hair care and/or hair styling marketing preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of professional beauty industry along with products and content that performs best is important. This includes understanding of metrics and performance measures for all distribution channels. Not sure
- Proven experience in creating a consistent and comprehensive brand presence across multiple channels preferred.
- Visual sense of esthetics and attention to detail required.
- Project management and planning skills required.
- Ability to make quick decisions, problem solve and multi-task.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts.
- Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.
- Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally periodically (max. 25%).
- Language skills a plus.
- Ability to articulate clear business direction and strategies; to drive goals and objectives. Also, to liaise between different departments, participate in senior level management discussions and facilitate the creative process at all levels.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets for category specific executions required
