What You Will Do:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for translating Pulp Riot’s big bets into best-in-class omnichannel animations for our key channels through the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including all promotional activities and product launchesThis role requires frequent collaboration with other departments including: sales, operations, finance, education, public relations, digital marketing, creative, sales administration, global marketing team and senior management.  The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, strong digital background, project management experience, ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environments, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative team spirit.

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of clear brand building plans in line with the objectives of the division including: 3 year marketing plan, new product launches, promotions and communication strategy.
  • Support execution of all marketing aspects of the brand’s strategic go to market plans, including sampling management, budget tracking, timely code and promo creations, creative briefs, etc. 
  • Collaborate with supply team to manage forecasts and stock inventory for promotional activities and product launches.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to sales and distributor teams; support senior management with key brand presentations
  • Interface with key salons, stylists and distributors for understanding of market trends and competitor activities

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years brand management experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience
  • Proactive and results-oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial and relationships-driven environment 
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Ability to travel domestically periodically (max. 25%). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Saloncentric or other distributor channel experience preferred
