This position is responsible for developing budgets, tracking actuals and working closely with business partners to achieve financial and business objectives. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development and implementation of annual business plan, budget/trend and three-year plan, managing all accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis functions, overseeing the completion of trends, budgets and forecasts and effectively managing administrative duties for the department.
PRIMARY/KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Accounting Norms and Internal Controls:
Exhibits reporting control & ensures compliance of transactions as it relates to the group accounting & management standards including GAAP/IFRS.
Efficient Use of Reporting and Consolidation:
Defines and produces financial reporting across all businesses.
Drives & educates processes to benchmark reporting and establishes best practices
Maximize Financial Systems:
Leverages knowledge around systems/data to provide insight into critical issues.
Systems include Excel, SP, Analyzer, Compass, Magnitude, etc)
Plan and Analyze Business Performance:
Calculates & interprets financial results.
Anticipates & identifies opportunities, risks and solutions by calculating & interpreting financial results.
Sets objectives, goals & targets.
Recommends changes in a strategic direction
Optimize Cost of Sales:
Evaluates and drives improvement in Cost of Sales performance working across all departments; including Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
Participates in applying costing methods, identifying KPIs, and setting controls to optimize cost.
Budget for Growth:
Develops budgets and financial forecasts (""trends"") in collaboration with business partners including P&L, overhead, balance sheet, and/or working capital.
Understands how they relate to achievement of overall business & financial targets.
Proactive Business Partner:
Using the L'Oreal knowledge, as well as market and financial expertise, to understands, improve, challenge and provided strategic recommendations contributing to the overall effectiveness of the business.
