Section 2:  Job Summary:

 

This position is responsible for providing strong, highly diverse and confidential administrative support to the Plant Manager.

 

 

 

Section 3:  Job Requirements:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent;

Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred;

5+ years of related experience required;

Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);

Well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of our organization;

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently;

Attention to detail and maintaining strict confidentiality is critical

Decisions made by the Administrative Assistant can directly impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment and Morale. They must make these decisions with only intermittent involvement from Supervision based on the knowledge gained from their trainings.

Delivery: The ability of the administrative assistant to meet the production demands ensures that our customers receive our products on time.

1. Provide daily administrative support to the Plant Manager including calendar maintenance, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reports, presentations, etc.

2. Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager’s management team, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, facility communications and employee recognition activities.

3. Plan, organize and execute plant-wide meetings and events for Vice President of Manufacturing.

 

15%

 

4. Process all departmental invoices, goods receipts and process documents for new vendors as needed.

5. Manage and maintain onsite cafeteria and vending for North & South buildings and reconcile monthly catering charges.

6. Manage and maintain the facility SharePoint site for Florence Manufacturing.

7. Manage and maintain office supply room for front office employees and place special request orders.

8. Manage and maintain safety equipment for front office.

9. Provide direction and be a point of contact for HR when they are unavailable and provide assistance by organizing and ordering employee gifts as needed.
