L’Oréal global digital team is searching for an experienced data & analytics candidate to support the brand’s digital growth with a qualified measurement structure.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience across digital platforms, including but not limited to website, search, social media, CRM, and both indirect/direct ecommerce.

S(he) will Develop & execute overall digital measurement, analytics, and data strategies & activations that support the master brand’s KPIs & objectives. They will focus on value driven analysis with clear due-to’s and to-do’s that will influence the global digital roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Identify Business Needs

  • Work with brand & CDO stakeholders to identify the business requirements and analytics problems to solve
  • Develop innovative and effective approaches based on business analysis, data analysis, data modelling, statistical analysis and predictive modelling.

Build data analysis solutions

  • Design experiments, test hypotheses and build models.
  • Conduct data analysis and designs convenient algorithms.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Present and depict the outcomes of their finding in easy to understand terms for the business stakeholders.

Ensure Data Collection, Quality and retention

  • Collaborates with local/zone CRM teams and group digital team to select the relevant sources of information (primary or secondary data sources, strategic approach…).
  • Works with Digital IT teams to support data collection, integration and retention based on the input collected with the Digital Marketing and CRM Managers.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality

Key Platforms

  • Google Analytics and full suite of Google products (search console, DBM, keyword manager, etc.)
  • Sprinklr, Netbase, Tribe Dynamics, Olapic
  • Search metrics, various SEO analysis tools
  • Experience with Amazon, Alibaba properties, JingDong, VIP
  • Experience with Chinese social networks, Vkonte, etc.


The successful individual will have experience in data analytics and in dealing with a high volume of data from multiple sources. You should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

  • At least 5 years relevant analytics experience
  • Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong capacity to navigate through all sources of data
  • Highly competent power user of Web Analytics tools, competitive intelligence tools and Data-Mining tools
