POSITION TITLE: Supply Planning CoE – E2E Director Process Excellence Subject Matter Expert (SME)

POSITION PURPOSE:
As part of the Corporate Supply Planning Center of Excellence (COE) team, the purpose of this role is to provide functional and technical process leadership, thought leadership, and drive continuous improvement in his/her respective functional area. This role will support and partner with the functional business teams in sustaining and building new capabilities in people, processes, and systems. In addition to supporting the functional business teams in the delivering and continuous improvement of the main supply chain KPI’s (service, inventory, E&O, agility, etc.), this role will play a critical role in global and/or regional projects as well as ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
The scope of this role will be in the areas of Supply Planning within the Global Brand Supply Chain (GBSC), Brand Supply Management (BSM), and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) teams. This role may expand to encompass a more end-to-end vision of the entire supply planning environment and community. This role will need to build and sustain technical and process knowledge in all areas of supply planning, including but not limited to: Manufacturing Supply Chain (MSC), Material Replenishment Planning (MRP), Launch Planning, Assembly Planning, Deployment Planning, Distribution Requirement Planning, Planning Master Data, Data Excellence, as well as Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. In addition, this role will be responsible to help coach and develop other COE team members in order to achieve this end-to-end cross functional skillset.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Operational Support and Governance:
Strong collaboration and partnership with Supply Planning Leadership teams and end user community
Facilitate strategy process with Supply Chain Leadership teams to set overall supply chain direction and improvement projects
Ongoing process monitoring and assessment to identify operational challenges and opportunities across supply planning community
Collaborate with Supply Planning teams to develop and implement ongoing KPI improvement plans
Partner with business and HR teams on succession planning and ongoing people capability development
Business Owner for the NA Zone for his/her respective functional area:
Provide local business expertise on existing processes, tools, and systems
Partner and liaison with corresponding Business Owners in DGO and other zones
Contribute to ongoing IT evolutions and enhancements
Partner with global and local IT resources
Build and enhance community of local business owners and super users
Project Leadership and Project Management:
Provide leadership and expert resources to support and deliver key initiative and continuous improvement projects
Partner with DGO business owners on global projects and initiatives
Represent needs and priorities for NA businesses within global teams
Training and Onboarding:
Partner with HR Learning resources to establish ongoing training and onboarding curriculum for supply planning community
Lead and deliver ongoing training seminars (formal and informal)
Establish and monitor ongoing processes for skill development, skill assessment, and skill profile required within business teams
Partner with business teams to develop capabilities to support ongoing strategic business goals
Functional Leadership for Best Practices and improvement of tools and processes:
Drive end-to-end process integration and optimization
Drive harmonization and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools
Identify ongoing continuous improvement opportunities and projects
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelors’ degree required; preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
10+ years of relevant Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and/or Distribution Planning experience.
Prior experience working in a high speed, complex manufacturing and/or supply chain environment preferred
Ability to work independently and possesses strong organization skills
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including project management techniques and tools.
Experience in large scale implementations for new systems and/or processes
Capability to be a change agent and lead change management activities
Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key points.
Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization.
Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, databases, macros, Power BI, etc.)
SAP APO or equivalent experience is a plus
