FINANCE MANAGER

Your role:

Managers will need to be comfortable managing a team of junior analysts, have sound analytical skills, and additionally will need a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures. These procedures including preparing month-end reports and financial forecasts. You will need a bachelor's degree in accounting, but typically a master's degree or extensive experience in the financial field is preferred for a manager position.

We expect that you succeed in:

  • Ensuring timely completion of all transactional tasks enabling to close the monthly/quarterly/semester or year-end financials
  • Analyzing data sets for relevant patterns and financial indicators
  • Compiling reports on organizational finances to be used by senior leadership
  • Owning completion of accounting procedures such as developing month-end reports and period opening and closing activities
  • Conducting data extraction (IC) and provide data to external auditors
  • Following target accounting and controlling processes and group norms
  • Ensuring legal requirements respect and service quality
  • Supporting management of junior team members
  • Participation in group and local financial projects to improve processes
  • Using the lean mindset in day-to-day work

We are looking for:

  • University degree (ACCA, CIMA would be an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience in accounting/finance area, particularly period close tasks
  • Minimum of 4 years of WE in group and statutory financial statement preparation
  • Analytical ability, accuracy, and meticulousness
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of FCT Blackline
  • Proficient in MS Office (mainly MS Excel)
