In this position you are expected to:
Lead the formulation and ensure implementation of the brand strategic direction on a 3-year horizon for both offline and online business that includes:
§ Marketing plan for the brands,
§ Portfolio strategy including marketing mix/ new launches,
§ Financial working/sourcing strategy,
§ Hero products strategy,
§ Animation of core catalogue,
§ Media strategy,
§ Brand partnerships and pricing strategy
§ Mobilize other departments (sales, logistic and education) and partner agencies to develop a broader business strategy.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
§ Manage the complete marketing budgets for the category and ensure they are managed within the given parameters: Sales Forecast, Pricing Strategy and Profitability of the brand and P&L.
§ Participate in demand and sales planning exercises with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the demand forecast accuracy for the category.
§ Manage end to end forecasting activity of the portfolio along with sourcing management.
Product Development/ Management
§ Lead the marketing mix of existing and new products and existing with global & zone brand guidelines along with local adaptation of communication materials.
§ Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
§ Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
§ Delivers the operating plan of assigned product line/category: the achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI for all the channels/categories of business and key customers.
§ Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, production and supply chain team.
§ Determines product positioning and pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume and discounting offers.
§ Ensure close coordination with Marketing & Sales team for developing and implementing effective functional strategies for all new product launches.
§ Identify new business opportunities and generate new leads to achieve set targets and enhance L’OPak growth and profitability.
§ Foster the e-commerce growth and digital consumer approach (including PR, Social media and Influencers strategy) in close collaboration with Ecommerce team.
§ Plan and lead E-commerce plans by ensuring A+ content/visibility, activation/promo, launches and expansion in line with brand’s strategic vision & guidelines.
§ Custodian of brand health on e-commerce platforms and closely track brand’s consideration and saliency.
