• Propose and develop innovative technologies for scalp and hair, based on consumer needs and scientific understandings
• Select and use concepts, technologies and raw materials, scouted and produced together with an international network of fundamental research, in various formula architecture to launch products in some of the most recognized worldwide brands

• Master in Science or PhD, and experience in innovative projects (upstream projects) developing new technologies with prototyping & formulating skills. Strong skills in developing technical hypothesis and scientifically proving it
• Experience in Skin care and/or hair science and cosmetic products (ideally cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, serums). At least 5-year formulation and/or process experience in cosmetic companies from technology concept to product launch
• Experience working in an international environment, with excellent communication and presentation skills in english (and preferably in Japanese as well)
• Strong in Physical Chemistry, Characterization of hair fibers, and Morphology of hair shaft as well as follicles, ideally in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry as well
• Experience in patent application and survey, specifically for freedon-to market search, patent mapping and proposing patent strategy.
