The L'Oréal USA 12-Month Junior Marketing Associate internship program allows creative visionaries and strategic thinkers to enhance their marketing knowledge in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The JMA program is paid internship opportunity that requires a candidate who has graduated with a degree within the last 12 months and is able to work up to 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join the SkinCeuticals US Marketing team in the Active Cosmetics Division of L’Oreal USA. This position will be part of the 360 US Marketing team with the goal of creating and executing activations to promote sales & brand awareness through all touchpoints.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – must have graduated within the past 12 months
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Self-starter and capable of working under minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment and to multi-task

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and sense of urgency in a fast paced work environment

  • Proactive, Ability to self-manage projects, high level of organization, ability to overcome obstacles and problem solve

Marketing Duties:

·       Support the Marketing team in developing strategy and material to support new and existing products. Identify innovative opportunities and contribute ideas

  • Interact effectively and efficiently with other departments in support of Marketing objectives
  • Evaluate existing and emerging technologies across the SkinCeuticals competitive set, provide thought leadership and perspective on pricing, format, and benefit gaps
  • Lead the commercial offer process in partnership with the Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, set-up, and monitoring of offers
  • Serve as point of contact for inventory position and tracking for non revenue, GWP, and printed materials
  • Manage the monthly content upload/removal of the DSA (Digital Sales Aid)
  • Liaise with key sales leadership for monthly national sales call prep and key communications to field
  • Propose and implement brand/product strategy and promotional support for the SkinCeuticals + Dermablend field-force partnership
  • Support Marketing team in the build out and execution of annual brand efforts
  • Assist with administrative team needs (Information systems, SAP, Inboxes, PO’s …)
  • Ad-hoc marketing projects


  • Ability to travel to sales meetings, conferences, ride-alongs and press events
