HR Admin Team Leader (Retail UKI)

Reporting to the Head of HR Retail, this role is responsible for managing a team of HR administrators and HR apprentices. They are responsible for ensuring we provide an accurate and efficient HR administration and query handling service for our employees and wider HR teams.

You will

    Work closely with the Head of HR Retail and HR Services team on embedding the wider HR processes 

    Support and coach the HR Retail Admin team with the deployment and understanding of our HRIS (One Profile, Tamigo) and wider ways of working 

    Provide hands on support during peak periods of high work volume, i.e. monthly cut off periods

    Act as escalation point for HR Retail, assisting with query resolution

    Work collaboratively with the payroll, reward, finance and divisional HR teams to provide seamless employee experience 

    Build good working relationships with your stakeholders 

    Review and identify  improvements to processes and procedures and ways of working for the team that best service retail

    Lead and support on key business projects i.e. service reviews, system  implementation and/or changes etc.

    Use data and analytics to inform your decisions and make recommendations to the business and wider HR team

    Plan work tasks of the HR Retail Admin Team and provide high quality administrative support in the delivery of HR calendar events such as:  benefits opt in window, peak recruitment etc

    Carrying out regular team meetings and conduct 1:1s to support and coach the team

    Conduct team Connect reviews 

You have

·    A passion for change and continuous improvement  

·    Previous experience of managing a team and or leading a shared service function.

·    Customer focused mindset and strong relationship building skills 

·    Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in an ever-changing environment

·    Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, remaining calm and professional at all time.

·    Energetic team player

·    Ability to deal with all matters confidentially and diplomatically.

·    Ability to set up, use and bring forward systems

·    Intermediate Excel and experience of using database.
