Channel Activation Manager-  Matrix & Biolage

Your mission will be to accelerate the growth of all B2B Store & ecommerce channels across the UK & Ireland as well as to create disruptive channel activation plans and execute engaging brand experiences with excellence, across store & B2B ecommerce sites. As the designated champion of the independent stylist tribe, you will drive the recruitment of this growing community of hairdressers by making Matrix & Biolage the leading brands of choice for the independent stylist.


Be responsible for:


1.Increase Matrix & Biolage sell-out within 150+ stores across the UK & Ireland, driving sales on key brand pillars to reach brand growth targets
2.Improve category management and implement sales-driving planograms to optimize shelf space within small, medium and large stores
3.Grow Matrix & Biolage share of brand presence within stores / e-stores to capture market share, build brand equity and improve repurchase and dwell times in store brand spaces
4.Own and implement all in-store launches and animations with innovative and highly creative 360 store plans.
5.Drive efficiencies by introducing sustainable, dynamic and eye-catching merchandising solutions to attract store shoppers
6.Design, manage and grow the store managers & store heroes community program, including scheduled monthly inspiration sessions and daily community management


·CMX content management (product & support content) in alignment with marketing plans
·Ideate, negotiate and source B2B-centric reward items to drive loyalty
·Manage customer care, liaising with distributor partners and platform users



·Prepare and share monthly insight reports using social listening tools, website behavior analytics, in-store research and qualitative ad-hoc studies to perfect local plans and activations, upskill internal teams and influence DMI plans

·Create monthly reporting of turnover and customer insights for B2B ecommerce & store performance



·Accelerate the growth of online sales on B2B partner websites (focus on key brand metrics: new-to-brand customers, AOV & UPT, cross-category penetration, customer retention rates and lifetime value)
·Deliver perfect brand execution by working closely with distributors to drive brand presence on high traffic pages, accelerate ratings & reviews, implement A+ content, run attractive promotions and on-site activations
·Grow traffic to brand pages with engaging content maximized across the full distributor partner digital ecosystems (CRM databases, social media conversion & engagement activities, SEO content plans & new traffic sources)
·Facilitate and support Upskill distributor ecommerce teams and internal sales teams, focusing on key opportunities for growth.
·Manage OPERA, the L'Oréal PIM/DAM platform, in partnership with product marketing teams to ensure all content is properly uploaded and pushed to business partners (online & offline).
·Lead the brand launch, growth strategy, customer activation and recruitment campaigns on L'Oréal Partner Shop




·Be the Champion of the independent stylists rooted in research and insights
·Work collaboratively with education, sales and marketing teams to create best-in-class plans to recruit and retain independents.
·Develop content & community-based reach initiatives that inspire, connect and build brand loyalty amongst independent stylists (leveraging pro-influencers, FHA, trade media, etc)


·5-6 years of experience
·A Passion for social & digital marketing and experience in ecommerce delivering growth for your brands
·Experience in designing strategies, excellence in implementing creative and innovative campaigns
·Excellent presentation and communication skills – written and verbal
·Strong negotiator and highly organised with prioritisation skills
·Creative and agile thinker and thrive in a changing environment, with a track record in providing solutions to business problems
·Advanced skills in interpreting and reporting on data and insights
·Proven project management experience
·The ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and maximize budget
·Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
·Energetic and enthusiastic with a team spirit
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
·Exceptional attention to detail
