What are key highlights of this role?

The purpose of the role is to support Operations Planning and Training Manager in daily planning of Operations

Activities within the Distribution Centre in line with internal and external customer lead times and its requirements.

 The successful candidate should be self-motivated and results orientated. In addition, they will have a logical approach and possess strong communication skills. The successful individual must already show a proactive and flexible approach.

 

Measures of success:

  • To ensure that we meet external and internal customers expectation and satisfaction

  • Support Manager in planning  Day to Day DC Shift Operations in line to deliver unloading, picking and loading plan

  • Support liaising with Supply Chain team to efficiently manage daily processes

  • Support Manager to deliver internal and external Operations team training

  • Support Manager in day to Staff Shop Operations

  • Maintain Traning and MHE KPI in line with business strategy

  • Run Operations Customer KPI’s to improve customer service via efficiency

  • Other adhoc duties as requested

Preferred qualifications/experience:

  • Strong organizational skills, a logical approach to problem solving and able to demonstrate proactive thinking.

  • You should be self-motivated and willing to learn

  • Comfortable navigating around warehouse management systems with sound understanding of SAP

  • In addition you should be flexible, and be comfortable assessing and then prioritising workloads.

  • Excellent communicator who is able to influence and motivate others

  • Strong excel and analysis skills

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated – a keen desire to explore improvement opportunities

  • Meticulous approach, demonstrates highest attention to detail and completes tasks to the required standard

  • You should be able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressurised situations.
