Product Master Data Manager

     (12 month Secondment or Fixed Term Contract) 

Based in our Hammersmith head-office, we are looking for a new person to join our L’Oreal UK & Ireland Shared Service team. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Product Master Data team. This is an operational role which involves building close working relationship across the business (marketing, commercial, distribution centre and supply chain).  Your primary responsibility will be managing the data requirements for the Professional Products Division product catalogue using SAP material management (MM). This role will be instrumental in shaping new processes and automating tasks as well as participating in cross-divisional improvement projects.

You will

• Manage a large SAP product catalogue for multiple brands in the Professional division.
• Be responsible for ensuring data availability and quality, challenging data owners where necessary.
• Ensure master data availability for submission to customers based on strict deadlines.
• Manage the interaction of the SAP catalogue with other integrated systems such as ecommerce sites and forecasting system.
• Generate and manage reports – both ongoing reports and ad-hoc – based on requests inside and outside of the supply chain team.
• Be a key stakeholder and expert in master data projects. You will help to improve the efficiency of the supply chain and take the lead in projects such as new brand or new system integrations.
• Quickly investigate, escalate, communicate and resolve issues arising in SAP.
• Cover other division master data managers if needed.
