Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To define and create for each channel the ideal retail merchandising strategy in order to implement the brand image in line with international guidelines and local marketing needs and maximize space productivity.

    • Catalogue merchandising

      • Identify and structure planograms per type of store

      • Recommend assortment and develop & produce planograms and casettes based on sales performance per store;

      • Full ownership of in store stock and MDQ (Minimum Display Quantity) through a thorough analysis of sales performance, alignment with marketing on brand priorities and with the supply chain team on stock cover and buffer.

      • Responsible for all GCC stock coverage, stock mix and recommend action when needed

      • Manage catalogue with product manager: responsible for ‘In’ and ‘Outs’, discontinuations and product availability in store.

      • Full ownership of CAPEX investment

      • Monitor competition retail performance within Make up market (ranking, trend, evol) to adapt planogram accordingly.

    • Retail business analysis

      • To continually analyze shop performance compared to expectation, company trends, and competitive position.  KPIs per store/ area.

      • Monthly performance analysis by category, by franchise following the brand objectives (Ex: eyes/complexion/lips)

      • Provides sales forecast per channel and works closely with supply

    • Drives sellout excellence

          - Suggest strategies for promotion and pricing based on current sales trends.

          - Provide standardized daily and weekly reporting to follow up promotion results

          - To implement and track sellout programs for retailers with commercial and marketing teams designed to increase sales and brand/category presence.

    • Proposes monthly BA targets to the Retail Manager according to sellout forecast per client

 

Profile:

    • Proficient in excel

    • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

    • 1-2 years experience in a similar job: merchandising, trade marketing, planning.

    • Very good communication skills

    • Independence, self-motivated, shows initiative
