Job Summary:

The E-Retail Content Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all US Original and Globally Created Content for all cross category brand animations, promotions, sets, gifts and products with purchase for PDP, On-Site, Email/SMS, Media, and Social Media Assets for Lancome’s eBoutique and retail partner sites.

  • Responsible for planning out content placement across all digital touchpoints for Lancome to ensure a cohesive, consumer focused brand message is delivered.
  • Develops processes that ensure all content delivery timelines are met and develops scorecord to track progress.
  • Responsible for creating engaging, relevant and original content for Lancome.com and Retailer.com to be used across the website and email, and ensures the prompt and accurate trafficking of those assets to the D2C Team.
  • Works cross-functionally with the D2C team, the Retail Marketing Team and the DMI Digital Team to conceptualize, plan and traffic the content, in line with the brand voice and guidelines.
  • Tracks the competition, has in-depth awareness and knowledge of the latest content trends, site experiences, and storytelling and cultivates new content ideas and brainstorm innovative content formats.
  • Makes recommendations to the D2C Team to the category teams on type of original content and features needed.
  • Manages the briefs and works on executing content development with the creative services group and the Digital Content Lead.
  • Works on the analysis of content performance by collaborating closely with the Consumer Activation Lead and the L.COM Consumer Engagement Lead. Reports, analyzes performance and make recommendations for content updates and creation.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with content production and working on e-commerce platforms
  • College Degree
  • Displays strong sensitivity to our “Métier”: focuses on quality, understands brands and has in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry, retail dynamics, competitors, market, trends and the US beauty consumer. E-commerce knowledge is mandatory.

Judgment and Decision Making:

This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, creativity and production knowledge, strong application skills of ideas to develop consumer understanding and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction across a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Sales, Brand Engagement) to coordinate work and deliver objectives.
