Manager, Retailer.com (Macy’s.com)

Job Summary:

Responsible for ecommerce acceleration within a retail account team, focused on building Lancôme’s online presence, revenue and profit through macys.com, enforcing a consistent Omni-channel brand strategy with B&M team members and influencing the overall path to purchase via data analytics and consumer insights.  Responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of online product information, digital creative assets, online advertising, and online-exclusives/Omni-promotions.  This includes the planning of content calendars around macys.com schedule, trafficking assets, maintaining the product assortment on the retailer sites, minimizing online out-of-stocks, evaluating digital share of shelf, creating and maintaining search optimized PDPs, maintaining ratings & reviews, and evaluating performance based on ecommerce benchmarks.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand treatment and content across the retailer website and in their email communications

  • The strategizing and execution of all paid digital media that will drive to the retailer website

  • The strategizing and execution of all organic social media activity on the retailer social media channels

  • The sales and promotional planning (GWP/markdowns/sampling) and execution for mcom programs.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

- 3+ years of experience in web production for eCommerce a plus

- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powepoint)

- Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving

- Full omni-channel mentality, customer-centric background and ability to executive

- Sales and promotional planning

- Highly analytical and KPI driven

- Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way

- Strong knowledge of current web design trends and techniques, and a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design

Judgment and Decision Making:

This position will be responsible for expanding the presence of Lancôme on macys.com. This role will require a balance of interpersonal skills and detail orientation.  This role will require constant interaction with third party sales partners on behalf of Lancôme and L’Oreal.  Interpersonal skills will be required to coordinate work with multiple internal sales and cross-functional departments.  Detail orientation and organization will be required to maintain the quality of our products on retail partner websites.  This role will also require time management, and prioritization skills.  It will require moderate supervision to maintain a proper corporate direction.  Due to the rapidly changing and accelerating ecommerce environment, this role will require a high degree of adaptability, nimbleness and ability to pivot readily.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interface with retailer.com partners to coordinate product information and promotion

  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts between internal groups and Retailer.com partners

  • Planning by week, by month for Macys.com

  • Maintain the most recent products, promotions, and information on retailer.com sites, removing items when they are no longer available (Ensuring all PDPs meet brand standards)

  • Ownership of media strategy, which includes partnering with marketing & retailer to optimize media

  • Provide reporting on channel sales and marketing efforts, including performance and customer service survey information from partners
