Retail Manager (m/f)

 

Regional position / Based in Zagreb

 

We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to provide oversight for all operations of our boutique stores. Our Retail Manager leads all operations at the locations and is responsible for making sure the store functions smoothly while optimizing profits. In this position, the Retail Manager must be able to garner respect and motivate personnel to perform at their maximum capacity, keeping the store in good working order. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sales, staff training, merchandising, ordering, and marketing as well as strong people-skills.

 

YOUR IMPACT IN THIS ROLE:

 

  • Drives store opening execution, respecting the timing and legal frame to ensure smooth running of operations

  • Define, validate and control stores’ business KPI’s, ensure operational excellence, monitor and handle stores daily needs

  • Local implementation of trade & retail activities and follow up on in store marketing execution

  • Manage all store operations and delegate responsibilities

  • Conduct hiring, workplace scheduling and performance management

  • Ensure staffing is adequate to operate the store effectively, and ensure employees receive adequate training for their job responsibilities and provide great customer service.

  • Ordering, receiving, price changes, handling damaged products, and returns

  • Address customer complaints/feedback in a professional manner

  • Plan and execute specials and promos, including year-end clearance sales

IDEAL PROFILE:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as store regional business manager/ retail brand development manager in fashion or make up industry (fast selling and high volume retail models)

  • Strong knowledge in retail market in region including competitor landscape and consumers dynamics

  • Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills

  • Past experience in bringing new brands into region is a plus
