L’Oréal is in a period of growth in digital and is building dynamic and multidisciplinary teams from different backgrounds to deliver on our exciting mission to accelerate the company Beauty Tech transformation. In this context, L’Oréal has launched a Tech Accelerator, a brand-new structure contributing to transform L’Oréal into a Beauty Tech through the acceleration of strategic deep tech projects at scale. With 3 hubs in Paris, New York and Shanghai, it is a structure blending rare resources, state-of-the-art technologies & methodology to enable our best talents to deliver the most value. We are looking for our Full Stack Lead Developer to join the Tech Accelerator team to deliver solutions on strategic and high priority projects for the Group.

What You Will Do:

• Development of projects with many experts in their respective fields: Data Science, AI, Agility, Business experts, UX/UI, Data engineering, Big Data and Cloud architecture, DevOps & IaC
• Diversity of Data (internal / external, structured or not) and missions (marketing, supply, retail, R&I and others)
• Diversity of tech stacks: Node JS, React JS, GCP, Relational, Columnar and OLAP databases
• Capacity and dedicated time to identify and test new approaches, technologies and tools

You will lead in these main strategic directions for this position:

• Define the different web tech stacks & make sure of their implementation
• Promote good practices for web development and standards in the different project teams
• Become responsible of challenging, controlling & developing our web applications with our project teams
• Monitor & reduce the technical dept of our web applications

Details of the mission:

In the Tech accelerator you will be joining the tech team to design, build & maintain the different solutions built by our projects. As a Dev Lead you will:

• Work across the stack to deliver new features or new web applications from start-to-finish
• Monitor and drive the technical project teams in their web developments to ensure a good level of compliance
• Provide advisory with our run teams on some bugs correction or features improvement
• Implement APIs, usable UIs; contribute to their design with the UX teams & POs
• Improve performance and overcome scalability and computation delays for existing applications
• Define and build the Unitary & integration tests, to be integrated in the CI
• Build the project integrations with SonarQube and follow up the Code quality scores
• Design & build the functional tests scripts 
• Guarantee the implementation of our security requirement in the web Development
• Contribute the the DevSecOps initiatives and tools

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Node JS: advanced level of experience (our standard back-end language)
• React JS: advanced level of experience (our standard front-end language)
• SQL/Postgre SQL
• Node JS ORMs
• Unitary & integration tests for JavaScript
• Docker
• APIs developments, Swagger, API management
• Cucumber or Selenium for functional testing
• You value code simplicity, performance and details

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GCP Cloud Build or other CI tools (Jenkins)
• Expertise in GCP / Cloud certifications (developer)
• BigQuery
• Python

• Salary Range: $117,000 -$164,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
