This position is responsible for managing the complete basic stock category and requires a strong focus on any item that falls below 15 DOS in which actions are required to meet divisional shipping objectives and meet customer fill rate expectations. It requires frequent interaction with the MSL, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Customer marketing/ Sales Planning to resolve issues.

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Intermediate to advanced data analytic skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Access beneficial.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SAP and/or MRP preferred.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence functional groups.
  • Ability to engage in healthy conflict, effectively problem solve within a team environment, and demonstrate resiliency.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet commitments.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.

 Intermittent supervision required. Decisions made by this position have a direct and high level of impact on service level to internal and external Customers, on ability to achieve monthly revenue and inventory reduction objectives, on the execution of new product launches and product promotions, and on the operational efficiency of Customer Service, Distribution, Transportation, and Assembly.  Decisions made by this position also influence forecasts and manufacturing production plans.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute systems including SKU hold, allocation, and Substitutions along with reports to ensure an efficient flow of product and orders
  • Work with Customer Service to resolve holds and release orders
  • Maintain sku hold, allocation and substitution tables
  • Provide direction to the inventory planning process to execute basic programs
  • Prepare for and lead weekly service level meetings
  • Identify and communicate material risks and formulate action plans
  • Work closely with MSL and Manufacturing on product availability, QC releases, QC blocked materials and QC > 10 days
  • Provide recommendations Caribe to meet demands and maximize fill rates
  • Instruct the Distribution Center to process transactions monthly and open stock replenishment
  • Provide direction to transportation to coordinate shipments and receipts
  • Create and Maintain material models in interplant
  • Create production planning for rework materials, and write MRP purchase orders
  • Develop Account specific rolling forecasts Execute planning and scheduling activities in MRP:
  • Support divisional cost control in relation to inventory
  • Analyze  Excess and Obsolete inventory and make recommendations on solutions to divisions 
  • Initiate ADI process for expired inventory and recommend shelf-life extension
  • Evaluate APD process to maximize recovery of excess inventory through secondary distribution channels
  • Complete data cleansing to ensure physical and logical inventory is isolated.
  • Facilitate material version and BIN management
  • Communicate to the Gatekeeper, Distribution, and Customer Service changes in Primary versions
  • Provide recommendations to ADP to secondary MMWM inventory
  • Interact with Sales Planning, Customer Service, Demand Planning, MSL,  Supply Chain, and Distribution to manage and execute monthly sales objectives
  • Lead a variety of divisional product related meetings
  • Provide internal communication of long term material availability issues
  • Provide operational perspective as required
