What are key highlights of this role?
You will be a part of the Consumer Products supply chain team. This exciting role will see you working in collaboration not just with other supply chain functions, but also with commercial, finance, and credit. This role will give you real life experience and accountability from day one. You will be responsible for working with various key customers across UK & Ireland building strong relationships to deliver operational excellence.
As part of your apprenticeship you will have the opportunity create your own success, be given time off to study and complete your assignments as well the support from all the colleagues around you in your journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your understanding of supply chain and how it integrates within a business.
This opportunity is within our Customer Supply chain team where you will play a key role in the order to delivery process ensuring our customer expectations are exceeded. We are looking for someone with a continuous improvement mind set who is striving to develop new ways of working and efficiencies for the business.
Five GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths, English and Science;
Two A levels or a BTEC qualification are preferred but not essential. Alternatively have studied at least a Level 2 Apprenticeship before in a similar subject
We are happy to consider this opportunity at a Level 3 or Level 4 Business Administration Apprenticeship
Relationship management – Building strong working relationships to deliver excellent customer service.
Customer facing experience – Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively via face to face / Phone / Email
Problem solving skills – Ability to root cause issues, empowering you to take responsibility and contribute your own ideas.
Analytical ability – Strong data analysis skills turning data into information to solve complex problems
Can do attitude – No problem is too small, Supporting others in need and seeing challenges as an enabler for change
Technical skills - Microsoft office packages, Internet explorer, SAP – would be advantageous
