The Business Planning manager is responsible for working with stakeholders to oversee Commercial forecast & promotion planning and performance for customer & brand level; defining strategic priorities, key drivers, and implementation timeline.



  • Lead End to end monthly forecasts & promotion process by product, by customer level, on baseline promotions and launches by Brand. Ensure sales forecast accuracy by following and challenging sales team targets, on baseline promotions and launches, and work with Demand Planning team to ensure stock available based on forecast.
  • Ensure Stock days healthy per level of customer & product. Coordinate with Channel & marketing team to drive action plan for high stock days SKU, aging SKU & discontinued SKU.
  • Coordinate with KAM, Marketing to plan monthly promotion/ key activities/ new launches by customers by channels in line with promotion guideline and budget. Work with Demand planning team to ensure on time in full stock Gift, minisize to deliver business plan.
  • Weekly monitor sales out performance per customer per brand, follow up key activities to drive sales achievement;
  • Monthly update market information include L’Oreal and competitors price, promotion, activities,… highlight to all teams and input to build promotion plan;
  • Lead the process of Monthly Sales & Marketing meeting, and preparation sales performance, evaluation promotion & campaign;
  • Fully understanding customer data, develop useful Power Bi dashboard all-in for sales performance, promotion evaluation, store performance,…
  • Any other delegated by line manager to deliver business objectives



  • Min. 4 years of experience in Sales/ Trade marketing/business Planning, Retail/Channel development in FMCG, esp. Beauty Categories are a strong plus
  • Strategic thinking, strong data analytical & data-driven business decision
  • Strong Commercial and Entrepreneurship mindset, result-oriented & solution driven, act with urgency
  • Growth mindset, agility and open to go extra miles
  • Good communication & Negotiation skills
  • Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, able to work effectively under pressure
  • Able to work both individual work & teamwork, esp. across functions. Experienced & strong in managing key senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Advanced level of MS Office Applications, power BI (must).
