Section 2:  Job Summary:

The VP of Marketing will be responsible for all marketing and brand initiatives in line with established strategic corporate goals. 



Section 3:  Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods businesses.  Experience within the luxury sector and fragrance and/or other categories strongly preferred

- Exceptional financial acumen required including proven successful experience with budgeting and P&L management

- Proven leadership skills including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members

- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories

- Proven ability to effectively present ideas and marketing strategies to all levels of senior management



Section 4:  Judgment and Decision Making:

Decisions are driving force behind strategic vision of the brand and it’s execution in U.S. markets.  Very little to no oversight outside of senior management buy-in of marketing plans.

The VP of Marketing has key responsibility, in conjunction with senior brand management, for achieving the annual budget plan as well as the growth and development of the brand in all channels of U.S. distribution while remaining within that budget and identifying any cost-saving measures in that process.

1.  Creates and ensures the successful execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share; Responsible ultimately for the complete strategic vision for the brand within a commercial context for 3-5 years




2.  Develops strategic business drivers through collaborative effort with key functional partners designed to build sales and maintain effective brand image and innovation




3.  Represents brand for cross-functional strategic and update meetings to include new product development, print and packaging, education, brand updates and presentations




4.  Responsible for the development, monitoring, reconciliation and review of the departmental budget



5.  Responsibility for successfully leading and developing members of the Marketing team
